Food is okay.. However, it is in the Indian category, but nothing has to do with it here.. I came for the Indian food, not the steak.. It's okay overall, but nothing special..

We walked past this restaurant twice before deciding to go in. There's a tiny balcony that you can sit on and watch the world go by, where we decided to drink some beer while ordering our food. Once the plates starting coming out of the kitchen, we went back inside for some serious eating. The meat here is fresh, and... More

I guess most people go to Kasabim for the steaks. Our host recommended it precisely for that. The steaks are good indeed, but we also had breakfast there once, and the food was excellent. It's not a particularly cheap place for Istanbul, but a good spot in a nice part of the city.

I visit this place up to twice a week when im in town. Their steaks are awesome, I think it has to do with the restaurant having Some sort of relationship with a butcher. The quality is consistent, the service is very friendly and personal and the atmos is relaxed, local. There is no wine of the menu but this... More

This restaurant is famous among locals for its lamb. Baby lamb, to be exact. A treat you are unlikely to find stateside.

We were quite hungry. The burger was great, very tasty meat, even if it was small and maybe not so cheap. To try if you prefer quality to quantity.

We used to love this place but regretfully the quality and the service level is depreciating… Almost 125 gram of my 250 gram entrecote was fat! C’mon guys! Meat is your specialty and we expect more! Sirloin steak was a bit better but once again it was not the same quality as before. Also, keeping your door open in the... More

I was working fir several months in Istanbul and it is really hard to find a Restaurant with good Steaks! Normally if you order Steak, you get thin pieces of beef.. so We found this location in May 2012 und were surprised to get good Steaks medium fried.. We went there 20x times and the Service was always friendly! Sometimes... More

We stopped here for supper on our way back to Kabatas, full of locals which always seems a good recommendation. We had a very good meal for a fraction of the price you'd pay in the city. My husband thought his kebabs were one of the best he's tasted.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
