How both religions co-exist so very simply . The high vaulting ceilings and of course the lovely murals

Great people, great service, nice breakfast! The room was nice and tidy! Not far of the old city center! In the near you can find the Grand Bazaar!

A good little place located just minutes from the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The house is quaint with interesting details and typical of the old town. The only problem was the temperature in the room (aircon did not work) and it was only the end of May... The manager Halil gave us his fan, but the windows did... More

This is one of the Istanbul sights for which you will need to queue - and if you've queued for a long time you may wonder if it's worth it by the time you get in. It is a magnificent building from the outside but the inside has seen better days. The mosaics are badly eroded and if it were... More

What a wonderful place where to spend a romantic night! A great room with inside bath. You can enjoy taking a bath with your wife... Service is excellent and the owner welcome you with a drink. It's difficult to find the location without a gps or a map given by the staff after reservation. I strongly recommend you this place.

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
