Located very centrally at Cihangir close to Istiklal, this bakery-patisserie offers not only tasty desserts but also several choices for breakfast. A small place with nice atmosphere. The prices were pretty normal

We visited this bakery on Dec 2015, based on other members reviews on our way up from Tophane to Taksim square via Cihangir neighborhood; Staff was polite (even though their English was rather poor) and we manage to order a few things for a quick snack; This is not a typical take-away bakery, the upper floor is spacious, nicely decorated... Very yummy sweets and nice tea. We had a seat outside with the cats and people watched. It's a great spot and everything is very well priced. I highly recommend to anyone staying in the area

We had a breakfast on our first day and we decide to comeback to have it on last. Nice food, good service and you can watch Istanbul morning life. Love it

Most difficult question is the decision what to order, because all looks so good. Taste was on par. Service friendly and efficient. Price quite low if you compare it with the larger cafes.

Their own waffel, crispy layers with good chocolate is the main reason for my addiction to Savoy. All their other mades are fresh, yummy and reasonable price. My the waffel is a fav.

sophisticated desserts: didn't eat here but had baklava packed. Yummy, syrupy, yet crisp. Expensive but worth at least the taste of one baklava

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
