Today I visited Menya, that left me thoroughly impressed. The food quality was exceptional, showcasing a delightful blend of authentic flavors that truly stood out. Although the cost leaned towards the higher end, the experience justified every yen spent.
One of the highlights of my visit was the attentive and helpful staff. They were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also offered insightful suggestions based on preferences, making the dining experience personalized and enjoyable.
The restaurant's ambiance added another layer of charm to the meal. From the calming decor to the well-thought-out seating arrangements, every aspect contributed to a relaxed and pleasant dining atmosphere.
In summary, if you're looking for a Japanese noodle restaurant that offers top-notch food, attentive service, and a welcoming ambiance, this place is definitely worth a visit, even if it's a bit above average in cost.

Last night, I went with my boyfriend for a dinner date here. It was probably our fifth time coming to this restaurant, as it’s one of our all-time favorite places. The quality of the food hasn’t changed a bit. We both ordered the ‘Nagoya Mazesoba’—one chicken and one pork. As an appetizer, we tried the chicken Karaage for the first time, and it really blew our minds. The noodles were *chef’s kiss*🤤 They also serve liquor now, so naturally, we ordered some beers, which added to the vibe.
The service was lovely as always. I first visited ‘Menya Hanabi’ in January last year, shortly after they had opened at OGF. I’m happy to see that they’ve consistently maintained their standards, and the restaurant was busy most of the time. Pricing is on the higher side, but it’s certainly worth it. With service charges and taxes included, we paid close to LKR 11,500, which I thought was pretty decent. I’d highly recommend anyone visit here for the classic ‘Mazesoba’ experience. I know I’ll be coming back more often as a thrilled customer😁🙏🏻

Amazingly delicious food! Great food beyond our expectations, will definitely go back again. Quick service, Rudhra delivered great service, he was knowledgeable about the menu and recommended us some lipsmacking dishes.

Although I have seen so many japanese food in anime and japanese films, I have never experienced japanese food in real life. Before I ordered, the staff asked me if I have ever had japanese food before.
(Free tip - If they asked you that just say no, if you never had japanese food before.)
I said no I never had japanese food before. And the gentleman who took my order gave me a nice description of important menu items and what I should order as my "1st japanese food order."
(Note about the staff - They are very kind, extremely polite and very honest. To expand more about the last point, some menu items had the adjective "Japanese". I was going to order "Japanese Iced Coffee". But the he said it's just taste like the normal iced coffee just order something else and he point me some menu items. I actually ordered one of the items he pointed out and it did not disappoint me. It was so freaking good. Same goes with the mains as well.)
For my 1st japanese food experience it just exceeded my expectations. Food was delicious. Drinks are awesome. I can't remember the names of the food and drink items I ordered. But I will upload some photos of the things I ordered.
Of course about the price, it was kind of high compared to the restaurants I go to on a day to day basis. But for that experience and for that taste I will gladly pay that bill amount.

The food at Menya Hanabi was delicious and of excellent quality. The staff was friendly and attentive, guiding us in selecting our meals by recommending their top dishes. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was an incredible dining experience. We highly recommend Menya Hanabi to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine.

We had a awesome lunch experience with best view and are host Dhanuahkar war awesome ! The veg options whr limited however Dhanushkar literally helped us with each deatils of the menu! 10/10 for us❤️love from India !!

The chef at menya hanabi is a master of her craft.
You can taste the passion and enthusiasm in the noodles and it’s clear they were crafted with love.
The chocolate melts in your mouth and one of the best dark chocolates I have ever tasted
This place is good for the price
Even though it may come off as expensive they bring great value for what you pay with great service and an amazing meal
10/10 would come here again

I am a Japanese cuisine snob and I was surprisingly impressed, it was SO GOOD. The service was 10/10 and everything was reasonably priced for how much food we got.
Will definitely be sharing this recommendation with my friends!

The service is very friendly and the food is amazingly delicious!
We came with our baby and they even cooked a portion of noodles exactly as we wanted for him, without charging it.
Highly recommended place! One of the best Japanese restaurants I have been so far.
Will definitely come back again.

Pretty good casual dining spot. The food is outstanding! It was our first time trying this particular style of dish and it did not disappoint!
Rudra our server is very polite! He explained all the options well and was proactive enough to mention any possible allergens that were in their dished! Exceptional service by him!

We've had a great experience in this restaurant. First of all, we were pleasantly surprised by the staff: all workers were very attentive, caring and helpful. They also thoroughly comply with Japanese etiquette, making you feel the unique atmosphere. Food was very delicious, and portions were big, more than enough to satisfy hunger. Prices aree good, the place is not overpriced (at least for a tourist, like me). Best place in Sri Lanka I've visited

I had high expectations, but this was a terrible experience.
The noodles were soggy, the broth was bland, and the meat was way too fatty.
The service was rude and inattentive, and the hygiene standards were questionable. Given the hype, this was a huge disappointment.
Wouldn’t recommend.
