I might have been a fool to order a glass of wine here.. It was totally oxidized. Unfortunately no other white bottle chilled, so had to drink red wine which was no better that the white, but I didn't want to bother the waiter. The green papaya salad was way too acidic and spicy, the taste was not balanced at... More

Went to this restaurant to have a drink and to look at the menu, but the drinks were overpriced compared with the others in the area, although menu looked interesting. Instead, ate at restaurant next door - Sao Deng Kitchen - which for some reason does not feature on Tripadvisor and had a superb meal, so would recommend!

Centrally situated, this place has excellent Lao dishes at a reasonable price, along with cold beer in cold glasses. Staff are friendly and efficient, and have a good sense of humour.

Our Tuk Tuk driver took us here and it was a great place to sample Lao food for people who were trying it for the first time. The food was really lovely, fresh and not expensive. The first day, we ordered the morning glory and it didn't arrive. We didn't miss it however because we had plenty of other food.... More

We loved the food here so much we came back both days in the city. They have a large menu and with friends we sampled most, all delicious. Be sure to try something served with their LK green sauce, its flavourful and amazing. A great Laos meal!

... but not as good as expected. Green Papaya salad destroyed by fish sauce, whole fish comes in 2 parts perfectly arranged, rear half Tilapia and front half tasty Mekong catfish. Bad service needs bosses intervention: There is GOOD white wine, Chardonnay, surprise. Low prices and good terrace seating.

I have been in Laos now for 6 weeks eating all over Vientiane and other places. Lao Kitchen be far is the WORST service of any place I have been! 45 minutes to get a very simple meal, resturant on 50% occupied. Getting the server to put ice in my drink was very difficult. The staff barely speaks "choppy" English.... More
