I was told by someone who knows that this is the best lao food in town. We went and enjoyed the river weed, fresh spring rolls, fried spring rolls and a mushroom entree. We had ordered the fried quail but they were out. Excellent meal.

We visited this place without reading any reviews previously. The Chinese pasta soup was very good, as was the duck laab. I'm only giving it 4 stars as the service was a little slow. However it is worth a visit for the food, if you don't mind waiting for a little while.

Nice and buzzy. Good service. Straightforward, clean environment. Larb was the best I have had in Asia. Also the Papaya salad was delicious and full off lots of little tomatoes with a tangy pop.

My partner and I ordered the Southern Style Beef Stew, Par-boiled Vegetables with Spicy Jeow and the Crying Tiger with Beef. My partner is Thai and can communicate with the staff and she asked for the stew to be cooked with the traditional amount of chilli not the tourist version. The end result wasn't that spicy and anyone who considers... More

It's a very good restaurant, though it show a simply outlook. We've had fish and chicken cooked in Lao style and were very tasteful! In addition, it's cheap respect to the quality of food. You can't miss it!

This was our very first Laotian meal. It was excellent, the tastes so different with a green sauce we loved so much, we asked for another! Had the grilled chicken in plentan (sp) leaves starter - so very different and delicious. A great stew with chicken (should have ordered it spicier because the tourist "hot" is not even warm!) and... The portions were large, but the food was undeniably bland in this very touristy spot. The duck laab lacked not only spice but flavor, and the spring rolls were unremarkable.
