The only redeeming feature was the staff and the wine. The food was over priced for supper gristly stake and reheated muscles. Supper diserpointed. The decor is looking aged. I will not be returning.

Ate here on a Thursday evening in October whilst staying at the Pavilion – read the TA reviews and looked at the website – decided to give it a go – when we arrived a buffet for a large group was coming to an end – sat outside – menus arrived – drinks ordered taken – decent Chardonnay by glass... As a Phnom Penh long-term resident, my usual diet is predominantly Khmer cuisine. And when I deviate from it, I make sure that Open Wine Restaurant is high on my list. My last visit was a few days ago, in October 2016, and it provided the same pleasure and je-ne-sais-quoi which has made me a loyal customer since 2007. A... More

I noticed this restaurant on my morning walk and suggested it looked interesting. We were having a late lunch and couldn't think of anywhere closer so decided to try it, expecting to be turned away due to the lateness of our arrival. Service was discrete and the setting elegant. We opted for the set price lunch which was $16 US.... More

Great place, good food, good wine choice. Business lunch is busy, you better book a seat in advance! Taste of the food is real French feel. Service quick and efficient. You cannot go wrong there!

Exquisite setting with nice outdoor garden with fine French Cuisine, The lunch menu is full of a wide selection of dishes. Had the goats cheese and sea bass. Wonderful, and pretty good for USD 16!. One of the better lunch deals in town.

(Try not to eat too much of it because of the next point.) o Generous portion of food! o Beautifully made juicy steak that was perfectly complimented... More

Dear Doritos9, Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions. By Tuna Salad, we assume you had ordered the Salade Niçoise. The fish served on this salad is an excellent and very fresh Red Tuna. In fact we keep very small stock and order them fresh on a regular basis. So we feel your disappointment may come from... More

What a perfect French gastronomic lunch at Open Wine on my last day before flying back to France: the high degree of professionalism of the staff, the carefulness and hospitality of the direction, the architecture & ambiance, the quality of the recipes at the menu and before all the talent of the Chef to interpret them, delighted me from A... Went once, but the service and food were not so good, and very expensive. I would not waste my time or money again.

Dear Sharon, We are very surprised and saddened that you did not enjoy your meal with us. Nonetheless, it is not easy to reply to your comment, as it is so very vague. Should you have been more specific on the food your ordered, the name of the wait person, the time and dates of your visit, or anything that... More
