Every one with a social conscience demands that you visit this restaurant. It's been around for years and if you are a tourist you can go there and eat spiders. OK - so it is a great concept and a great location but it was...More

Friendly, easy going place to eat. Good value for the money. Better to book a table, seems very popular with backpackers. A special mention for the juices and the desserts.

Great Selection. Yummy food. The bill was pricey so that's why I can't give it 5 stars. If you have an urge to splurge, Romdeng is a great place to get a truly tasty khmer meal.

We went here for the tarantulas. Everywhere else that we saw tarantulas, they looked like they had been sitting out in the open air for hours, if not days. At least here, it looked like they were cooked to order so we gave it a...More

Romdeng offers khmer food with a twist. I've eaten there several times and every time the food has been just delicious. If you are more adventurous, you could also taste some more special options like spiders or red tree ants, which were surprisingly yummy!

I had a very good diner there. The service is good and ambiance well set up. As one of the friends restaurants it is probably my favorite for the place itself. And the tamarind & lemon grass mojito is delicious !! For me it is...More

Always a good dish here, Clean, well presented, and tasty, great location and atmopshere, this restaurant seems to a large house converted. Lots of outside tables, with great plant foliage. always polite, another must eat daily location.

The "tarantula" restaurant - where I really enjoyed 3 palm-sized spiders despite my partner being arachnophobic. They deliver fantastic Cambodian local specialities at a third of the price you would happily pay in England. The teacher-pupil arrangement is not always the most efficient way of...More

Open Monday to Sunday from 11am to 11pm (kitchen closes 10pm) Romdeng is set in a beautiful colonial building whose wooden carvings, tables, chairs and unique lights were all hand made in Cambodia. The silk goods and cushions adorning Romdeng were made by our students in sewing training at Mith Samlanh and its walls are hung with beautiful paintings produced by young people from the art classes there. All of this plus a pool, free WIFI, a family area and a gift shop mean a visit to Romdeng is a must.
