I ordered one of the vegetarian dishes and it was delicious. My friend tried the tarantulas! It's not too expensive, and they are a social enterprise so eating their helps their work in the community.

What a gem this place is. Another example of the seemingly myriad establishments in Cambodia working towards the betterment of its most vulnerable people. I thoroughly enjoyed my outstandingly delicious curry, as well as the delicate flavor of the rambutan passion daiquiri. Prices more than...More

Okay, you don’t have to go wild with your choices like we did, but how could we pass up having fried tarantulas?!? The order of three of them came laid out attractively on an appetizer plate along with a dipping sauce, and it was the...More

I visited this restaurant with my partner, we are a young couple looking to try great local food and support an excellent cause. The waiters were really pleasant and the food arrived very fast (low season so the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy). I ordered 2...More

We went to Romdeng on the recommendation of a friend and were delighted we did. We sat outside under the wooden hut which was very cool in the ambient +40C. The menu is varied and not too long, catering for all inclinations (including veggies and...More

We had an incredible meal at Romdeng, with great service, a good selection of drinks (including exciting cocktails) and at a reasonable price. Although it is possible to eat slightly more cheaply in Phnom Penh, it is harder to eat quite as well! The Burmese...More

Overall good food with friendly staff. I also went to Friends Restaurant and I personally feel the ambience (and the food) here is more pleasant. The price is slightly on the higher side but for a good cause.

Hello I was there last week, we got a table straight away (2 of us). It was busy though. In regards to the menu I am pretty sure they also had frog and ants along with tarantulas, so unless they’ve changed their menu I... More

Open Monday to Sunday from 11am to 11pm (kitchen closes 10pm) Romdeng is set in a beautiful colonial building whose wooden carvings, tables, chairs and unique lights were all hand made in Cambodia. The silk goods and cushions adorning Romdeng were made by our students in sewing training at Mith Samlanh and its walls are hung with beautiful paintings produced by young people from the art classes there. All of this plus a pool, free WIFI, a family area and a gift shop mean a visit to Romdeng is a must.
