Food good, best Japanese in town. Service excellent. Good range of sushi and hot meals. Facilities are clean and the staff are welcoming.

They have a lot of different Japanese foods, and the preparation was authentic Japanese. Unfortunately draft beer is not available, and bottled beer is a bit pricey

We ordered the mixed sushi/nigiri and it was ok but too much mayonaise. Atmosphere was good, smoking everywhere as you expect in Baku, Go to Madu I hear people say. I will. That said saki, service etc was good

Mado is one of the first japanese restaurans in Baku. This one is my favorite for 7 years or so. Everything there is super delicious, literally everything I've ever tried. Ambiance is relaxing, staff is friendly and professional. The prices are average for the city, the menu with prices can be found on the official website which is good for... More

Mado has the best quality fish in Baku. The staff is consistently good. The prices aren't horrible (for Baku, for sushi). This is much more traditional than some of the other sushi places and is far from the center (unless you're staying in the Hyatt). But highly recommended.

The facilities are comfortable and clean; the service is OK for Baku standards but the food was one of the worst experiences ever. Went there on a Sunday at lunch time and had mini soba soup as a starter that was good but the main course, duck breast, was just so bad; over cooked and with non-matching sauce (is this... More

The best japanese food in Baku. Have been japanese restaurants many times in Baku and other countries. Both service and taste of food is very good in Mado. Although prices are quite high but it worth . Especially interior of the restaurant is stylish. So recommended.

Sushi here is pretty good .. but in my case if you're going for sushi, you either find an all you can eat place or you will break the bank!

This was a real find. Although I had been there once a long time ago, when I went last week, I was pleasantly surprised with a wide menu, excellent food and excellent service. The only down side was the price of the wine and the fact that it took three tries to get a bottle I had selected.. the range... More
