This restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff. It is was only a five minute walk, making it very convenient. The staff spoke little English, making communication a little difficult. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed indoors, making it slightly unpleasant. The service was slow, but when it came the food was delightful. Recommend if you have time to enjoy the delicious... More

This is definitely one of the most interesting restaurants with Armenian traditional dishes in author interpretation. The restaurant has twofold advantage with respect to all other Armenian restaurant in Yerevan: the known chef Sedrak Mamulyan successfully promote old and rare traditional Armenian dished which you merely can taste in other places and he also bring new author traits to them.... Me and my husband love this restaurant very much. We continue visiting it from year to year. It is a place for those who are looking for old true national dishes with exclusive cooking. The Chef Mr. Sedrak Mamulyan makes greeeeeeeeeat armenian dishes with exclusive recipes. The interior is simple. The atmosphere is quiet. A great place to discover old... More

They have a decent quality food, like home-made. Good people, but service can be improved. I just put high mark considering the price/quality balance. It is also a restaurant with some special dishes, very tasty but not cheep. During the lunch time they offer buffet type of self-service.

Tend to visit this restaurant only in the winter months. Have been twice in the last two weeks and the good standard continues from last year. Only eat the original ribs so cannot comment on the other food but the ribs are really good. Waiters are very friendly but if you do not speak Armenian make sure they understand what... More

Overall, it was a good dining experience. Not great, but good. Just two doors down is Anteb which I find to be much better but they had a long wait. Once was enough!

Ararat Hall is an Armenian cuisine restaurant situated in the heart centre of Yerevan, 5 min to Opera and 5 min to Republic Square. I like this restaurant, not because of the dishes quality (they are delicious indeed), not because of location (there are many Armenian ethnic restaurants in the centre of Yerevan), not because of the service and decorating...
