Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The interiors look very attractive until you sit down and try to order something. I tried to order an earl grey tea to which the waiter replied that they didn’t have available. He suggested a tropical earl grey instead ,but when the tea came it...tasted like a completely different type of tea. On that day we visited they also did not have any cakes or desserts available which was dissapointing. The last straw was when we asked for milk for our earl grey tropical tea and the waiter told us that milk was also not available. I think its a nice place to sit and take photos but not worth the money to drink subpar tea. I could’ve made a better cuppa at home. Don’t even bother coming here.More

This place has a great atmosphere and certainly has the wow factor when you first walk in. However, our experience deteriorated from then. The first three dishes we order were not available and the staff didn't seem to care. We ultimately order the mixed platter...which was beautifully presented. The egg with caviar was delicious as was the trifle. However one of the other cakes was very dry and not very edible, and the prawn was not deveined, making it totally inedible. The platter comes with a cup of tea and when we asked for a Vietnamese coffee instead (which is on the menu), the waiter initially refused our request, even though we offer to pay extra for it. Overall a very disappointing experience.More

Wide tea selection, design desserts and cosy atmosphere, but often too hot, which detracts from the overall experience.

Ended up here whilst on the hunt for ginger tea to aid relief to my partners stomach upset. Lovely little tea house that reminded me of somewhere like Fortnum & Mason or Harrods. Great upmarket decor.

We found out about this place while wandering around and thought it was cute place and have planned to come back another evening. Before going, we’ve read some reviews and I’m glad we did. The owner Khanh has been criticized publicly for slapping one of...his female employee in public and the video went viral. We will not support this kind of behavior from any man at all, however coming from a man with his status is even worst. Being a rich entrepreneur does not give you this kind of power and I wish the employee would have pressed charges.More

Very beautiful tea house. I ordered Rum and raisin icecream. The texture is really bad. I suspect that the box of ice-cream was melted and they refreeze it. It is like eating a shave ice which all the ingredients separated. I complained to the waiter....She took it back. And then she said that is is normal. And since I already take a bite, I can not return. Later on she brings me another scoop which she said from the new box. I can see the texture is the same. So I return without tasted it. After all the hassle, I still got charged for 95,000 vd for a bite of bad ice-cream. Unforgettable service.....More

Don't get me wrong this place looks great! The furniture, decor, uniforms etc evokes the golden age of historic tea drinking. Even with the 4 security guards at the front door!?!? The tables look amazing, the way the tea etc is served looks perfect. However...for the cost it is a total waste. We have travelled SE Asia for a month and we spent the most money in any one cafe/restaurant in here. All for 2 pots of tea and 2 desserts. We have been having 3 course meals and alcohol for the past month for less than we paid here! We thought that as it was out last night in Saigon we would have a treat but should have gone to Highlands Coffee instead. Where we paid about a 6th of the price for the same and is was miles better! Save the money and go somewhere else, honestly! The tea was plain. Twinnings, Tea Pigs, T2 are all lots better. They were even selling a pot of loose leaf Twinnings for 145,000!?!? I had Sukura tea and had to down it as it was so vile. Think sea water, but worse! The other half had pineapple and orange cream loose leaf tea which was ok but pretty standard. The free green tea given by our hotel is so much nicer! The desserts looked nice but were in fact pretty plain. Come on guys sort it out, for the price and the investment in decor and presentation this place should be phenomenal. Starbucks does better tea!More

Really wanted to go here, as it had looked so lovely through the window but ... They were quick to open the door, seat us and give us menus but then nothing - literally nothing. My husband and I sat for quarter of an hour,...while the waiters and waitresses milled about. It wasn't busy and neither were they! Eventually we got up and left ... which they weren't bothered about either.More
