Limited English speaking limited menu but none of that matters as long as the food is good it’s not cheap but it’s not expensive hopefully you pay for quality. Basically you grill your meat and you have spring rolls. Everything tasted great the service was...great the eggrolls are fantastic don’t let some of the other reviews scare you awayMore

To get good Bun cha Ha Hoi you need to go to HN, but if you’re in HCM city this is as good as it gets. This is a Northern style vermicelli noodle with grilled pork patties/pork belly and lots and lots of herbs. The...only thing is they need dill and peanuts to make it better.More

My friend surprised me by taking me to dinner at Quan Nem as it was featured on CNN. We had the Bun Cha Quan Nem and Crab Spring Rolls. The Bun Cha was very good, especially the round pork patties.

My close friend took me to the best crab spring rolls restaurant in the town, and I had to admit it's a true fact. The rolls are crunchy with well-combined fresh filling. Grilled meat balls and slices are tenderly marinated and cooked. Dipping sauce and...veggies are great. We came to Quan Nem on Sunday afternoon and it was crowded with diners, however, serving service was fast and friendly.More

Really enjoyed! Tasty and fresh. All 3 items on the menu (barbecue beef, crispy crab roll, vermicelli) were delicious. We ordered one of each, along with a beer, and while we definitely could have eaten more, we left feeling satisfied.

CNN approved in 2012... they wouldn’t approve today. So save yourself the trip. When walking in, it was crowded but little atmosphere, but who cares when you want to try the springroll... they had a sign that they increased their prices. They only serve bun...cha and springroll (69.000 VDN). Drinks (for example softdrinks) were around 25.000 VDN. Bit expensive. We only wanted to try the springroll, but that was lost in translation. Service speaks practically no english. Unfriendly staff overall, walked away when we tried to call them to our table en we had to ask for our bill 4 times. I don’t mind asking several times, cause we are the non-vietnamese speaking guests; but it was overall chaos. So the food... springroll-: 4/10. It was dry but the shrimp was okay. They cut it up with scissors in 4 pieces, so eating it is was challenging. There was no fish sauce or hot sauce. It was not worth the 69.000 VDN or the walk. Caution; they provide wet wipes, BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY for the wipes. In our 4 weeks in Vietnam we never had to pay for it... too bad it happend at a “restaurant” that sucked... Toilet is gross tooMore

I met a friend and stopped here for lunch after an exhilarating motorbike ride through the city This place is busy, definitely for young groups and families, noisy, and unapologetic for it Wooden furniture, big tables, polished cement floors There’s a terrace top which is...where we were seated after a 5 minute wait downstairs I think it helped that my friend can speak Vietnamese as she said something to the staff and then we got our seats We had a sumptuous lunch of noodles with tangy fish sauce dressing, salad, pork and prawn dumplings (huge, 4 of them), pork mini bites and bacon on a burner (about 4 pieces of each) and green salad Some iced water and iced tea to go with it All promptly served, no waiting once seated And so delicious, the style of food suits the setting and atmosphere Great for lunch or a group for dinner. To top it off, our bill was a grand $16 totalMore

Apparently this is a CNN approved restaurant, at least according to the posters on the wall. I was surprised at the menu, or lack of, there were only about 4 food items to choose from with Buncha being the main entree. But if you only...have one item, then it should be perfect. It was pretty good although a bit stingy with the meat. We also, had the spring roll which was tasty as well. I would recommend this place to those visiting but if you are hungry and with more than one person, you may want to consider ordering two.More
