I come here for one dish not on the menu - bun cha Ha Noi. My quick bite every time I crave it or cant think of anything else. Probably the closest to what I could have in Hanoi. The place looks average but I like its attentive staff, almost always empty even at peak lunch hour.

This restaurant is located on the street which runs straight forward from the back entrance of Ben Thanh Market. I felt pho in Ho Chi Minh City was a little sweet but this restaurant's one was not sweet. It had a simple but rich flavor. Additionally, you would not have to wait for long time and the price is reasonable.... More

I visited here for lunch with my friend. We ordered Chicken Pho with vegetable and fresh orange juice. Within a few minutes of ordering our food arrived. It's so quick. Chicken and vegetables are tasty, but I prefer more mild broth.

Father-in-law saw the "kampong" chicken and was interested to give it a try. Mistake! The chicken is dry and not very flavorful. The sticky rice that came with my chicken is so dry that is borders on inedible. The noodle soup is just plain and could easily be outmatched by instant noodles! Honestly... just not worth the 50k Dong they... More

I don't know what that other reviewer is saying when they referred to this place as the "best pho ga in the world." He must have been paid for that statement because it is in fact quite disgusting. This place has Hanoi style pho, meaning the noodles are softer and nearly mushy as opposed to "Nam" style of pho where... More

This is across the road from blue diamond hotel, where we stayed. After way to many Long Island iced teas we had dinner here... The staff were friendly and helped us pick from the menu....we were a little intoxicated :) The food was yummy and quick. When I got the bill I payed too much and the waiter was very... More

Within a few minutes of ordering our food arrived. Quick and easy. Filled the stomach but nothing special. Reasonable prices, long hours which is nice but nothing to write home about.

I don't frequent many local places in Saigon, but I make an exception for Cat Tuong during the day as well as late night (they are open until 2 AM). Most dishes are 50,000 (~2.50 USD). As the title says, my favorite dishes are the two Bun Cha dishes they serve, both the pork meatballs and spring rolls. The staff... More

The photos attached to the site are incorrect though it is directly opposite the Kingston Hotel in Dist 1. This place is simple to look at , BUT I have searched far and wide for a better Pho Ga, from Hanoi to HCM, the simply yet complex flavours in this broth, the silkyness of the noodles, you have to taste...
