The menu is huge, the ambiance amazing. Easily the best meal we had in HCMC. Not the cheapest dinner but well worth it.

This restaurant features a quiet, homely setting on a backstreet at the edge of District One. There's a lovely English-speaking staff, but the star of this show is the food. Don't be intimidated by the enormous menu; instead, just ask your server for a few recommendations, sit back, and enjoy the authentic Vietnamese food that's served. I promise you won't... More

I went there with some friends and found this resultant charming. It reminds me of a period when Vietnam and China were still very poor. The milk cans used to keep the chopsticks are from that period as is most decorative items and the food.

Our hotel recommended this place which took around 15 minutes from the Renaissance Hotel by taxi and cost 70,000 Dong. We were not disappointed. The food was tasty and nice and they had a wide choice of dishes. Don't be put off with their Extensive Menu. Just ask the waiter for their most popular dishes and their recommendations We chose... We had been recommended this restaurant and decided to go for the last evening of our holiday. The Vietnamese we had met during our two week stay had all been so lovely, welcoming and hospitable and we noticed immediately that this was not so here. The staff were quite off hand. The food was OK but not that special. The... More

Had a nice dinner here and it's an old house with nice staff and the food was great. Enjoyed it and prices are a bit more than normal but should visit. Will return

Every tenth of my business dinners in HCMC ends up having dinner at Cuc Gach Quán. I don’t mind at all because the interior design, the menu, the food selection is really special and I like it. However, the service level sometimes is inconsistent with unique atmosphere and food quality. Some of the guys just bored or tired paying attention... More

This restaurant is a bit out of the tourist district, and frankly, wasn't worth the trip for us. In fact, it was our least favorite meal in our two week vacation. The food was very bland and wasn't of good quality, especially since this is supposed to be a finer restaurant by HCMC standards.

Some of the tastiest traditional style viet food I've ever had. Soft shell crab was amazing, please do yourself a favor and try it. Orange juice was fresh squeezed and organic. Upscale Vietnamese done right, decor and food was next level. English menu available also.

I was living in Ho Chi Minh for the last six month and i enjoyed going to this restaurant a lot. The food is really good the service is friendly. The interior of the restaurant is very nice. The only thing is that the restaurant is not located centrally.
