Lovely, quirky bar hidden down an alley on Hang Trong. Cheap coktails (AUD $5), chill out music and some good bar food. The fries and burger were not so good on one of the days we ate there (oil was old, and tasted like it, but then we should stay away from western food in Vietnam anyway) but the vietnamese... More

Canopee is a quaint eclectic bar and restaurant we found down a small alley that was right across from our hotel. You went up 1 or 2 flights of stairs where the rooms had a meshing of retro and abstract tastes. The owner went out of their way to make sure we were cool. We had cocktails which were delicious,... Nice little restaurant tucked down a little alley way Food wasn't bad but think we had a communication issue as we ended up with the same dish 😜🤔

Located right in the center of Hanoi's Old Quartier, Canopee offers a great getaway from the city's crowded streets and the ever-present orchestra of scooter horns. As a returning client, here are some of the few things I would like to share from my previous visits. For the newcomers, the cafe might be hard to find. Although nicely located right... More

Nice looking place. Down a alleyway and up some steep stairs. Check out all levels of the place. Crazy xmas meets Halloween decor. Just had some water, cokes and fries. Good place to take a breather but does not look like a place I would want to eat at. Glasses were not the cleanest and it looks as though cleanliness... More

Great place for a couple of drinks, each of the 3 levels are exquisite and beautiful in their own unique way. The atmosphere had an amazing feel to it, but was empty with guests. Drink prices were average but good. Food was okay, nothing great. Would go back again just for the atmosphere.

Right across the road from our hotel so we tried it and kept going back. Has achieved the retro factory look very well. Drinks list is OK and prices in the middle, not cheap but not expensive. Snack food OK but main meals cheap and ordinary.

Walked down a creepy alley to find an awesome place with a rooftop/balcony bar! We had drinks and food. Drinks were good, food was nice but pretty average. It's not the cheapest place either so definitely recommend for only one or two drinks! You're mainly paying for the venue which is worth it :)

A small corner in old Hanoi close to Hoan Kiem lake filled with the green of trees and leaves. A simple space with skilfully recycled decorations. Come to Canopée to relax with fine coffee and cool cocktail and mocktail specially for summer. Come to share experience on drinks which has been brought with the founders' passion and enthusiasm after each long trip...
