With a unique location in the very centre of Hanoi, this café can be one hot spot of the city for relaxing and for sipping a perfect café or a drink. If it could be renovated with appropriate decoration, it could be exquisite.

Great alternative for breakfast. Great coffee, huge plate of fruits and yogurt and banana pancakes. Very friendly staff and free wi-fi.

A little café with compfy, large seats. They had great tasting - but slightly odd - mango juice, made with mangoes that I had never had before. There was a huge window, which was open, to let lots of air in - so it felt like you were literally sitting outside. It was in a great place for a café.... More

We had a quiet drink while watching the world go by. Service was quick on a Sunday afternoon and quiet enough to have a conversation without having to yell across our neighbours as is the case in many other places.

A Paris back street cafe of the 1950s and 60s. Atmospheric, always busy and bustling, Casablanca eat your heart out! Foods quite good and coffee is excellent. Nice quiet balcony area upstairs - cool, shaded and quiet. A must visit when in the Cathedral district!

Food was just terrible. We were just so hungry that we tried to eat at least something and felt bad afterwards. One of us didn't get what he ordered and waiter just laughed for that. Even the toast was not toasted and bottle water was luke warm. Don't go there.

We ordered vegetarian sandwich with tofu but sandwich came without tofu. We told this to waiter and he did nothing but laughed to us with other waiters. Vietnamese coffee was normal coffee. Other portions we ordered were tastless. You will be disappointed.

Like others, we walked in after perusing the menu and noticing the people inside. Yes, the cafe is popular with cigarette smokers, most of whom were Vietnamese, meeting for coffee. It was very dark inside, we had difficulty reading the menus. The food was just okay. We ordered a Club Sandwich with french fries and a Nasi Goreng Fried Rice... More

We had passed the café a few times, and it looked very appealing from the outside, like a colonial heritage place. Eventually we went for refreshments. The staff were pleasant enough and with reasonable English, but were preoccupied with their own affairs - phones, talking to colleagues etc. We ordered fresh veggie spring rolls and a papaya chicken salad. Both... More

Had high expectations - faded old charming building, friendly staff. But smoking was encouraged indoors, and very watery coffee taste.
