Worth finding for the egg coffee alone. Such an amazing taste and strong coffee. Owners were very nice and chatted for quite a while

Had a cold egg coffee here which was great. Cool place to sit down with a great atmosphere up stairs. Very quick service and a good price.

Ok, this IS the place for the egg coffee.. The owner a few generations ago invented this delicious taste and the place is still run by the family. You might have to look out for it because it is kinda hidden, reached through a lane...More

This place was recommended by Maggie at the hotel we stayed in. Had she not done so we would never have spotted it as the entrance is rather obscure. The place upstairs was packed and we only just managed to get a spot in a...More

I visited here so many times. When I taste it for the first time, it was amazing. Now I think not very special. But if you want to try something special in Hanoi, try to drink an egg coffee here.

A must try in Hanoi. Tried the Egg Coffee with Chocolate and with Rum. We love it! Taste good! Should try for coffee lovers.

Their egg coffee is not exaggerated. It is really the best I had in Vietnam and I've had a few. It had a very thick yolk. The place gets really busy, I was there in the evening.

I'm not sure if they add condensed milk to the egg coffee, what I know is they add the blended egg on top of the coffee. But maybe you can request them your specifications.

Giang Cafe was founded by My Father ,Mr. Nguyen Giang in 1946, when he was working as a bartender for the famous five-star Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi hotel. Although the cafe has been relocated twice, its egg coffee recipe is almost the same as in its early days, with its chief ingredients being chicken egg yolk, Vietnamese coffee powder, sweetened condensed milk, butter and cheese.
