We went in and got a table because it was right by the lake but that was the only positive. Didn't feel clean, staff were ambivalent and a burger and fries was the worst I've ever had. Enough said.

I was working one week in Hanoi and the last day we decided to go out and dining in this restaurant, that is in the mid of the city very near of the historic center. The restaurant is very well located near the shore of the Hoan Kiem Lake with nice views even during the night. The food and the... More

We had previously had coffee and ice cream here during the day and loved the views and atmosphere. We returned to walk around the lake in the evening and weren't disappointed. It is beautiful. We had dinner here and weren't disappointed. They make great pizzas and their ice cream sundaes are delicious. Followed by a Caffe Latte. At night the... More

Ive lived in Hanoi for 4 years and can say with confidence, and in just my opinion, that this Cafe simply doesn't have its act together. This is the worst rating I've ever given an establishment - period! Whilst the views over the lake are great- that's where it stops. What a pity! The food is lack luster; the service... More

After walking around the old quarter and trying to find a cafe that served milkshakes and coffee we came across this little gem near the Hoan Kiem Lake. We were tired and thirsty and very happy to sit inside this comfortable cafe with its pleasant view. (Smoking was permitted outside the cafe.) My strawberry milkshake and cappuccino were both delicious... More

The food was really expensive and not taste like anything. Would not eat there again. The place itself was nice but the service was slow and they did not speak English well.

The food and service was good and the setting gorgeous at night, right next to Hoan Kiem Lake. Very effective fans to keep you cool, providing a lovely break from walking around the sights and night market. Our 9-year-old loved the chicken bahn my (sub) so much that we came back another day, and our more traditional stir-fried food was... More

Walking around the beautiful Hoan Kiem lake, we chanced upon the advert of this hotel offering traditional Vietnamese cuisine. We walked up this first floor restaurant, overlooking the lake. When we stepped in, we were pleasantly surprised by the exquisite setting and ambience. Our table overlooking the lake, made the perfect setting. The menu was exhaustive and we had no clue... More

The view from the terrace is great, close to the lake. We had icecream and a coffee, both very good and with good service. I see others have experienced bad service, but we didn't. Actually, a great place where you can get a bit away from the busy streetlife.

The food is just a scam for tourists. If you want to eat traditional Vietnamese, please go away. It's a mix between frozen dish full of oil and western dish. This place is only good to enjoy a beer or some ice cream. That's actually what locals do there. The view on the lake is nice if you have a... More
