Yesterday we had dinner at Le Beaulieur restaurant . We had ordered foiegras and some vegetable salad for starter! Then Dove Sole and Cod fish for main! My girlfriend like Dove Sole verry much ! We really enjoy dinner with superb suggestion by Mss Lan! Highly recommend! We definitely come back for the next time!

We were 3 with my parents to discover these supposed "magic" place. The 2 "coq au vin" we ordered were just OK with potatoes not completely cooked. My mother ordered a "Sole Meunière" (1,7 MVND) that arrived 10 minutes after our "coq au vin" - The Fish was OK, the side dishes were almost cold. She get sick all the... More

The decor is nice , part of Sofitel legend Hotel. We appreciate the service quick and discret. The buffet is nice with nice délicatesse food. Fish meat appetizers and very good sweets.

We went for their famous Sunday brunch and left quite satisfied. The food was varied and of consistently high quality. Given the fare on offer, it was quite reasonably priced too.

I had high expectations for the Brunch on Sundays at this place. And I still dont understand, how a hotel like Sofitel, can have such a lousy (really lousy) eye for details. You ask the waiter, basically 3 times the same stuff, and they still dont want to fill up. And this is 2 hours before the brunch closes. Also... More

Nice buffet although limited choice for the main dishes. Great dessert in choice and quality. Not that cheap.

We had dinner at Le Beaulieu which we thought was amazing! Great service (especially Quyen) and very friendly. The Australian Beef Tenderloin was mouthwatering although the lamb was overcooked. The restaurant is also pricey. Apart from this, we had great food and awesome service! Definitely recommended!!!!

Love the view from our table by the window and the candle light. Symbolic colonial architecture. Food is fine. Mrs. Lan gave us amazing service. Will be back when in Hanoi.

Had a family dinner at Le Beaulieu. Since it is the room where they serve breakfast, it lacked the ambience but the service and food made up for it. The foie gras was cooked to perfection, I was surprised that they kept to their promise of making any classical cocktail when they presented me with a perfect brandy alexander. My... More

A wonderful place if you are looking for French cuisine, no frills and no ties needed like many fancy French restaurants. Sangria before the meal to "quench your thirst", it is excellent, almost send you to Spain on the first sip:) Try tenderloin that would send you "to heaven" as it actually melts in your mouth, I mean it! Renowned for its exquisite French cuisine - perfectly crafted in both flavour and presentation - multi-award winning Le Beaulieu has for over a century been the venue of dazzling soirees and sublime Sunday brunches. Wine connoisseurs will find pleasure in Le Beaulieu's impressive wine list featuring selections by our passionate Head Sommelier. One hundred years old like the hotel, this mythical dining destination frequented by war correspondents (Graham Greene, Lucien Bodart...) and also politicians, entrepreneurs and diplomats is directed by head chef Olivier. The decor is a unique Sofitel blend of Indochinese ambiance and French sophistication: marble and wooden parquet floors, large windows overlooking the street, soft breeze wafting from the ceiling fans, lit by chandeliers at nightfall... An exclusive selection of cigars and one of the finest wine cellars in Hanoi, housing over 100 grands crus, excellent champagne and vintage French and New World wines, a symbol of French heritage.
