Our guidebook described the place as a bit of a dive which I think is grossly unfair. I'll admit it looks nothing from the street and first impressions when you step inside are not great (mainly down to the low lighting) but stick with it. The owner is a delightful fellow who loves to chat and play games with the... More

this could be the place. Dark little bar with a very friendly owner. Seems to be one of those, "I've been there" kind of spots. Really nothing very special about it other than the hospitality of the owner.

Fantastic bar in Da lat! Think of Cheers but in Vietnam. Central location but lit by candle light - it may look closed from the outside but it's not, go on in! Highlights: -Smaller no frills place with a great vibe, full bar & pool table -Mr.Dung (pronounced Dou-ng) the bartender / owner speaks English, is very friendly, & goes... More

Mr. Dung is the kindest, most gentle host in this no frills bar. Perfect for the solo traveler, locals and travelers abound. Best music and dark atmosphere. I returned to play pool with him night after night. He's a God among men.

Met a friend for a late night drink. Beer was cold and reasonably priced. Actually looked like a "bar" inside. Comes with pool table also. Would visit again

Our host Mr Dung is (from the reviews on Tripadvisor) doing very well from his bar which is the oldest in Da Lat. It's very very very dark so I am unsure if it is dirty or not. The beer was cold was possibly my only positive. I think it would appeal to the younger travellers.

I came here with my 3 friends after reading about the place on trip advisor - otherwise we would never have found it! When we knocked on the door it was completely dark and we wondered if it had been shut down, but then the owner turned on a few dim lights and welcomed us in enthusiastically to what looked... More

First of all, the address is 11A1, just 3 houses away from the One more Cafe. Its a small, warm bar. Really really friendly owner. We came when its quite dark inside and barely see thru to make sure it was opened or not. But a review already said that '' knock the door'' so we did, and the owner... More

Your classic dive – people come for the beer, pool and company, not for the decor. There’s a friendly bartender and the place stays open till late.
