Just stunning, wooden carvings all over the building, stumbled on the place walking by the river and couldn't believe what a gem we had found. Food incredible too!

This restaurant is very spacious with Thai style architecture and decor. You can order both western and thai food, service is good, the food is just ok, not amazing.

We stambled on this place while walking the streets of downtown Chiang Mai, doing some shopping and just got hungry in the process. It was getting relatively late, 8 pm or so. For some reason all places we passed were either open or empty. This place with its lovely antique mansion inside flowering fragrant garden was nicely lit and very... More

Visited Chiang Mai in November 2014 and had a wonderful time. Came upon Baan Jangapoor by chance and very impressed with the ambience, food and very attentive staff. Returned the following evening for an equally good experience. Would certainly go again on a return trip.

I had a heightened expectation for this restaurant from the Trip Adviser reviews but however much I tried I couldn't do better than 3 stars due to the average quality of the food and service. The setting is lovely as the restaurant is located in a 150 year old Lanna mansion with garden surrounds. The service was friendly but the... More

Absolutely stunning building and location let down by a terrible chef, WE should have known when there was only one other couple there.Chunks of raw garlic was served on the first dish as a sign of what was to come. A sweet margarita in a champagne glass. Overcooked entrees, flavorless mains and ridiculously overpriced. Don't bother

Very nice restaurant in a old Lanna house, 150 years old. The setting is very romantic and the food - thai - really good. Service was attentive and efficient. There is a huge parking behind the house.

Foods good, though we couldn't sample more. Nice music in a lovely teak building days back to 1862 to set the mood.

Although it was on our list of restaurants to possibly eat at, a visit the day before cemented the deal for us. We were wandering past during the day, and the staff were so welcoming, inviting us in for a peek. It was the first day of the Yi Peng festival, so when we returned on the Thursday night the...
