Chef Angelo talked to us and helped us understand what was in each dish. I let him pick a dish for me and wasn't disappointed. It was a sea bass pasta that was awesome!! My husband wanted something with pasto and he actually huggged Chef Angelo when he tasted it. We had Chef Angelo pick a wine to match our... More

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 1 January 2017 via mobile

Excellent quality meal - the proprietor is there to greet everyone personally, and takes pride in explaining the daily specials. The seafood risotto was superb, and the penne puttanesca had just the right combination of ingredients (some places over-do the olives) Some of the menu items are very pricey but these tend to be the truffle-adorned dishes. Overall, a superb... More

I usually don't write reviews. Especially not negative ones. But this time I feel like it's in its place since the TripAdvisor reviews played a large part in me visiting this restaurant in the first place. So to sum up the experience in one word: Disappointing. Let's take the dishes one by one. The pizza: I consider myself a pizza... More

I am very sorry you don't have good taste for food. Perhaps you don't know what good food tastes like. We have had hundreds of positive reviews of our pizza and other dishes. And no one has ever complained of overcooked asparagus. Next time, try 7-11 for your pizza. More

We really enjoyed the warm welcoming and the personal presentation of Italian delicacies. The freshly prepared pappardelle alla Norma and the risotto with imported Scampi from Italy were sensational. A touch of a true and warm-hearted Italian chef!

Piccola reminds me of an elegant café one might find in Rome or a genuine Italian-influenced area. Arrive early so that you receive first class treatment from the chef who has owned this restaurant for 27 years. A bottle of Santa Cristina for $50 and mixed green salad to start. Follow with a thin crusted but uniquely dough-made pizza and... More
