I left Chiang Mai for 9 months and one of the things I was really looking forward to was returning here for a meal. My heart sank when I saw it was closed. I wish this could change. Best Indian food I have EVER had.

I just received the bad news last night from the chef and a waiter who stopped me (as a frequent customer) on the street to tell me that the restaurant has closed permanently. Its a loss to Chiang Mai and to the tourists who visit here. The young chef (only 24 years old) took pride in her work and always... More

The Best Indian Vegetarian in Chiang Mai. It also servers Jain food as per your needs. It is centrally located. It also has outdoor sitting.

Well, one of the best indian food restaurant in chaing Mai. Definately very flexible in making changes in the dishes you want. Ambience is very good as they have indoor as well as outdoor space to dine with Indian music planning on television.

We found Spicey Bollywood to be quite tasty, The Punjabi style curries were delicious. Really enjoyed the atmosphere with the Bollywood videos playing in the background. Punjabi seasoning is more delicate than central or Southern curries and a refreshing change from thick oily curries. The Chicken Samosas were delightful as was the Chicken Korma, Mutton was good but real Mutton,... More

I have dined here regularly over a long period of time, and in fact given this restaurant a glowing (deservedly) review before when their standards were higher. I had some take out from here a few nights ago and it was horrid. The Aloo Gobi came in what looked liked an inch of oil and the prawn curry had six... More

Read a review that someone said the food here is not spicy. Spicy it was for me, although taste is subjective of course. Great selection of north and south Indian dishes, and they even have Tali's. Have eaten at a few other Indian restaurants in Chiang Mai but find most like to add too much salt to everything, the exception... More

I have eaten in many Indian restaurants across the world; this one is different. Firstly, I could not find any Indian restaurants in Chaing Mai using the conventional sites. I literally stumbled across this place as I glanced down an alley, away from the moat. The main restaurant is separated from the kitchen, so you get a lot of traffic... More

We were looking forward to an authentic Indian curry after seeing that the owners and staff were of Indian sub-continental origin. Our starter of Tandoori Chicken was quite nice but our main dishes fell flat with inadequate spice and poor quality of meat. The portions were very small for the price (160-200 baht for a main dish) with hardly any... More
