Great beer selection and fantastic German food. They even have a decent wine selection. It's great when you need a little break from Thai food.

I just wanted to eat the schweinehaxe pork knukle so i found this place. It was pretty good, the skin was totally crispy but some of the meat was overcooked probably because it wasn't cooked rotisserie style. The sauerkraut seemed a little sweet also.

As one of our favorite restaurants, I have to admit that I still love the place but renovation is needed. The last time my family and I were there those very old and homey sofas were filled with stains and some fungus. And while we were eating I saw a cockroach crawling up on the dining table. I love the... More

I went to Ottos today after not visiting the restaurant for a few years. I have to say that I am disappointed. I had a Zwiebelrostbraten medium cooked. It was cooked perfect to the point, the spaetzle and the beans that came with it tasted great. In fact everything tasted great but the meat. It was chewy and tasteles I... More

We have made plans numerous times to visit but something always popped up and prevented our accomplishing said visit. We finally did it and it was worth the wait. I was happy the moment I walked inside. I enjoyed walking through the grocery store and reminiscing a childhood long ago. The smell of fresh baked goods was awesome. The different... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
