i highly recommend this restaurant, delirious food, good entertainment, top shelf service. I thought the prices were more than fair for the quality of food.

Lovely setting and staff certainly looks better when it goes dark.Be aware of where you are seated the view of band is nice but not if you want a conversation with your other half .We shared a tomatoe bruchetta followed by a pineapple fried rice and a flame grilled lamb kebab. All well presented .Wines a bit pricey here so... More

As I live nearby, Zanzibar is one of my regular hangouts. The 'hanging' garden provides a special Ambiente, and carefully positioned yellow garden lights create a cozy atmosphere. The Thai food is tasty and original, but a little too expensive. The Western food is good, but not so special. Last but not least, the two bands are the real attraction:... More

atmosphere is good and lively but rates are rather steep for both liquor and food. Service was fast. I enjoyed it once.

I'm back in Bangkok again and decided to try out the Zanzibar for a drink prior to dinner. I sat outside and had a great wine and a great atmosphere on this Soi 11. Only had drinks but it was super-duper!!!!!!

I have been here quite a few times. It is one of the rare places in Bangkok where you truly frel like you are out of the coty, in a garden setting, live music, good food, nice staff which speaks perfect English. The first times I was there the (Phillipine) band was great, but since then, almost each time I... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
