Easily the best hummus I've ever had, so smooth and creamy. Ended up getting some to takeaway for a long journey the next day. Really disappointed they were out of falafel but it was late evening. Poutine was nice and overall friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go back if ever in Bangkok again.

Live in the area and always enjoyed the great food at the Snack Bar - Western, Thai and Poutine (French Canadian) plus very friendly service. It has moved across from Samsen Soi 2 on the far side of Samsen Road- now named Bangkok Poutine (bright blue sign) with the same greats.

If you're Canadian, specially Quebecer, you need to try this place out. I was gone for about a month and a half touring Asia and this let brought me right back home. I went there everyday for almost a week and every single time was an amazing experience. Food is great, the beer is cold and people are awesome. Every... More

I ate the falafel pita with garlic sauce. It was super yummy and with 100 baht kind of affordable. The staff was super nice. Would definitely go there again!

It was honestly the worst pad Thai I've had. Clumpy, eggs mushy, noodles wouldn't separate, quite bland and well just bad. Really bad. Looking at Reviews however I've seen I should have probably gone with something western, and other meals around me looked great. Don't get the pad Thai it was bad, real bad.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
