After a number of dinners at small back street restaurants Mango Tree was a pleasant escape away from the busy streets, set in a green garden with genuine tropical feel. The service was excellent and the food as tasty as well presented.

Seafood is a great value here, especially the grilled prawns. Everything was tasty. The location is gorgeous, interesting and appropriate to Bangkok. Only thing preventing me from giving a 5 is that service was pretty slow at every step.

Was supposed to be the best day of our life, but the incompetent staff, who all came in late the morning of my wedding, distroyed the day. I( the groom) had to do the service for my guest, as no one was there to serve...More

We arrived at about 4.30pm. The only guests. The setting was quite inviting, with a nice koi pool that we sat beside. If we'd known then that that was the highlight of our visit we would have left. My mussaman curry was cold and had...More

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions,
this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many.
Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi
Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the
plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a
night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's
worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers
on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
