Food was great. It was neither too spicy nor too simple. Staff was frisky, and menu was easy to understand. There was a great variety of options.

Our guide, Pattapong chose this place for our lunch today and we are glad he found it for us. Nearby the temples, clean and air conditioned. He chose three dishes: Thai Beef Salad, Massaman curry, and chicken satay. Excellent.

After the reclining buddha we needed to grab a quick bite. Staff was friendly, food was mid price range not super cheap like street food, nice atmosphere. Wifi and AC couldn't ask for anything more on a hot day in Bangkok.

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok,
it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn
the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and
most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to
this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off
their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most
spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to
Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
