I came with my dad and we ordered Borsaiola Pizza, Frutti del mare rissotto, Legumi Soup and Angel-hair pasta with crab! We were stuffed. My favorite was the seafood risotto which was recommended by someone on TripAdvisor. It was absolutely delicious. The pizza was ... okay. I didn't like it so much but I'm not a pizza person myself anyway.... More

A lovely setting and very pleasant atmosphere , this restaurant serves delicious Italian food. The service is excellent, the staff friendly and the manager arranged a taxi for us to get back to the airport in 5 minutes. A must if you are in this area of bangkok !

Il Bolognese is at walkable distance from Anantara Sathorn, has two entry and the easy one is to follow the street beside the "Limoncello". Now, before I dig into the restaurant, let me say that I've created my benchmark in terms of Price, Quality, Service and Emotions at 1500 - 2000 bat, 1 pax excluding wine. Who is the judge?... More

Wonderful range of Italian food coupled with excellent service. Happy to cater for our daughter with Coeliacs with a gluten free meal. The tiramisu to end the night was delicious!

Went to Il Bolognese with some friends - they said this should be a very good restaurant but I found it lacking of flavour. Had a very nice salad and ravioli with ossobuco but I found it lacking the heavy richness taste.

Everything is excellent here! Incredible amazing dishes (All menu we ordered). This restaurant represents the BEST quality on Consistency & Balance flavour ever! I always have Mixed Grilled Seafood, Wow, it always blow my mind. They know how to cook a perfect grilled squid. The only one place in Bangkok can do this. It s more than 20 times I... More

Without a doubt the best rissotto Del mare I've ever tried. The staff are amazingly attentive, so much in fact we felt a bit rushed out the door. If there is one thing the manager should focus on it is slowing the staff down a tad. Although we were seated near the kitchen door so we got all the traffic.... More

Surrounded by high-end condominiums this is a favorite and easy Italian restaurant for expats to go It means it is a place to have an easy dinner rather than to have a high quality Italian restaurant For kids to share a pizza That's all

This was our second time to Il Bolognese, this time for my partner's birthday with friends. The food is simply spectacular, the starters were all super tasty and the pizza amazing - had the Diabla, which is delivered to the table on fire. Love a bit of food theatre! The staff are attentive and friendly, and it's got a nice... More

Ive visited Bolognese since when it wasnt very crowded like now a day but today Im very disappointed with the service so much to the point where I think its worth my time to come and express my disappointment. I arrived at the restaurant with no reservations but I was prepared to wait for a table. We ask the first... More

Description
By Customer Tripadvisor review...

This smallish, cozy Italian restaurant in the heart of the city offers some of the best Italian food in Bangkok. Situated in a stand-alone Thai house, it has both indoor and outdoor seating and a room for private parties. The prices are average but the food is exceptionally good. There are weekly specialties on offer but the standard fair includes homemade pastas, salads, antipasti, fish, beef, lamb, chicken, and, of course, their famous pizza. They also have homemade desserts and an impressive wine list as well as a fully-stocked bar. Definitely worth a visit.

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
