Looking dowdy and worn out, this small Italian eatery is just cruising along, failing to offer its customers either value or food cooked with any flair or enthusiam. It's annoyingly pricey, with no redeeming features to justify a lamentable price-quality-ratio. Others have noted that the...More

This dumpy little place has excellent food way beyond what you would expect just walking in the door! Be warned however of a couple of quirks....firstly never ever go if the owners not there or you will get really poor and sloppy service. .....secondly don't...More

I ate here a couple of times as the Soi was flooded so it was difficult to go anywhere. Food and service were good. Seems to be a bit pricey for Bangkok but it was not outrageous. Portions seemed a bit small to me.

We first chose this place after a long, hot day. It was simply very close to our hotel...no other reasoning. Boy, were we delightfully surprised! The food was incredible. I half expected to walk outside and be in Italy instead of Thailand. The owner was...More

The food was admittedly quite good. Only one house red by the (small) glass...and plonk headache stuff! Certainly overpriced versus competition but still acceptable. Seemed very overrated dumpy place . The owner was not there and as stated in many reviews there is lousy service...More

Simple decor, friendly patron, straightforward menu, good service, delicious food and drink. We thoroughly enjoyed our pumpkin soup; and grilled spinach, with cheese and bacon starters, and our main courses: fettuccine with ham, porcini mushrooms and cream; and parma ham and basil pizza. This small...More

The menu is fairly thorough, with antipasti, salads, several pasta dishes, fish, meats, etc. We had an antipati plate with several sliced meats (prosciutto, sausages and pickeled veggies, but very little cheese) it was nice as a warmup to main dishes. I had a spaghetti...More

This simple, friendly restaurant serves marvelous Milanese cuisine (try the mushroom risotto -- yummy!). The kind owner was helpful in pointing us to the specialties cooked by his son. If you are in the neighborhood or simply ready for a change, try it!

Just tried La Buca for the first time and wasn't impressed. Average Italian food for Bangkok but way overpriced. It's a small hole in the wall place with a drab interior. There are plenty of better options in the same area. The seafood risotto was...More

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls
lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll
rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While
the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of
entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys)
where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for
a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and
soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
