Started with a mojito and stayed for dinner. The ambiance looks a little tired during daylight. I had spaghetti with soft-shell crab. It was delicious and moderately priced. We'd pay way more for this dish back home.

Enjoyed the evening outside dinning, with creative dishes and drinks. Live music was very good. Good access by River Boat or Taxi.

They couldn't get a simple cappuccino right. Disappointed, considering the beautiful location and lovely background music.

The River City area is one of the nicer places in Bangkok. Close to river transportation and the Sky Train as well as shopping. Pimenta serves good food and provides ambiance. You can also hear live music here. It is close to the piers where the dinner river cruises dock, so you can sit and have a drink while waiting... More

Came across this restaurant on Tripadvisor and were quite kicked to find that the restaurant shared our surname. Had to go check it out. And am glad we did. We went there almost at closing time and called before. The girl was reluctant to let us in but with a little coaxing, she obliged us ( I think the surname... More

Not but but also not very special. The service is quite boring. It depends of the hungry you are but it´s not very attractive.

Nice pace near the river where you can watch the dinner boats come and go. Fortunately, they have found a way to keep the boat customers (mostly Chinese) in a line away from the restaurant's terrace. Service is also good. However, we were disappointed with the food. We were expecting great things from all those tapas we ordered, but nothing... More

Food was lovely, good prices as always in Bangkok with a fab location I sat right on the rivers edge with a glass balustrade. I ate tapas which were calamari, chicken wings and squid. They had a live band on when I was there too

The food, the decoration, the atmosphere, all good. But if you plan to sit by the river, I strongly suggest coming after 8 p.m. The tables by the river are very close to River City pier where loads and loads of poor manner Chinese tourists come to board river cruises at 7 p.m. As usual, they are loud and inconsiderate.... We very much enjoyed a tapas lunch at this new restaurant in River City. Looking out over the Chao Praya River and stylishly decorated inside, this restaurant offered a change from Thai cooking (which we enjoy very much but coming from Australia we are used to a variety of cuisines). The food was delightful and the service was excellent.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
