Wanted to find a place with pork sausages as these are hard to find in Thailand - the norm is the chicken hot dog style ones - yak! I found this place with familiar pork sausage, so was delighted. I ordered a big breakfast - has to send the eggs back twice for being either rock hard over done or... More

We always stay in the Asok area when we are in Bangkok, and to find this little gem literally on the doorstep set my day up. I would eat at Chu every morning if I had the chance because it has the balance right for me. Good food, great service and pleasant atmosphere. A nice version of the English breakfast... More

Located at Exchange tower near to Asoke BTS. Walkable directly from the station via the linked bridge. You will know you are in the right direction when you see the True Fitness Big Signage outside of the building. The food are not bad. Tried the pancake with banana walnut, waffles with chicken, egg white fritatta and some french toast. Coffee... More

I've been a few times, and while I do enjoy most of the food, including the deserts, it's a very overpriced place. The size of the cappacino is miniscule, while the eggs benny, at 300 baht, are nothing compared to other places, or even what I could make at home. They skimp on the hollandaise (I had to ask for... "Big Breakfast" is nice, but surprisingly their pancakes were not moist and kinda dry. 70% hot chocolate was good too with great taste, but not as thick/rich as I'd expect.

We found Chu on Eatigo (it had a 50% discount, so we decided to give it a shot). We were not disappointed in the least. The menu selections are vast and appealing. We all ordered breakfast foods: berry pancakes, big breakfasts, and berry french toast w/cream cheese. The food was filling, delicious, and quick. We couldn't have been more pleased... More

The place is famous for its richness in the cocoa drink. The cafe serves western style type of breakfast and various types of drink. The service is great and the food was nice. However, it is overpriced and there is no wifi provided in the cafe.

This review is for their Silom branch. Cafe is located downstairs of the hotel I was staying at. Ordered the eggs Benedict and it was the worst breakfast I've had - poached eggs were more boiled than poached, plus they were cold and so was the entire breakfast including the bacon. They were overpriced for what this ended being. The... More

This spot does terrific Western breakfast food. Pancakes, waffles, big breakfast combos, great hot chocolate too (the Belgian Hot Chocolate is much better than their signature one, which tastes very average). But the price? Ridiculous price for Thailand. For a batch of 3 pancakes with maple syrup and two hot chocolates I paid almost 700 baht, which is around 18... More

Came here for breakfast and it is ridiculously overpriced! For BKK, this was definitely targeting expats in the Asok area. There was just 2 of us, but the bill was 900 baht for brunch! Not to mention their coffee is too bitter. Couldn't even finish my regular cup of latte.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
