I always take my friends who love veggie food to have food there. They have many kind of food and serve with the big plates and bowls. There're some desserts but it's quite pricey for small piece of chocolate cake. But I like food there and the cosy place.

This place has food that can help your jet lagged body adjust to the shock of being in an entirely new place with a new local diet. The food is clean and fresh feeling, they have soups that will settle your tummy with lots of gentle broths as well as more spicy options. Fresh fruit shakes, good tea, comfortable atmosphere,... Ate here about 4 times during our short stay in Bangkok. Lots of options for vegans. Lovely falafel and traditional dishes too. Moderate prices and good portions

My meal of thick rice noodles with vegetables was excellent. The spiciness suited the western palate but extra spices were available at the table. It is a refuge from busy Khao San road. Peaceful music, friendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere make Ethos a welcome respite for the vegetarian (in my case, pescetarian) in Thailand.

If it was just for the food, I would have given this place 5 out of 5. I'm a veggie, my hubby's a meat-eater, but we both loved the food here. We had the falafel platter and the veggie lasagne, and there were both delicious and fresh - and a nice change in cuisine from all the Thai food we've... More

The title says it all. Loved their tempeh and anything else I tasted from their menu. Cosy place away from the hussle and bussle of Kaoh Sarn road. Lovely staff too. Worth the few extra baht as the portion sizes are very decent.

Great little place! Food is delicious also, the porridge for breakfast is particularly yummy! Get a huge portion that keeps you going for hours! And costs 90 baht!

Such a great little find. I was handed a flyer on Khoasan road and it was down a back street around the corner. Wow! When we got there we absolutely loved it! We aren't vegan or vegetarian but it was great. We had amazing smoothies (pineapple and coconut) Pancakes excellent! We'd strongly recommend it if you're in the area (also... More

I come here every day i am in Bangkok, for a glass of kombucha. Three years ago, this place introduced me to kombucha, and inspired me to make it myself; they've since taken their brewing to the next level. I am inspired to follow suit, but i feel like a hen trying to lay an ostrich egg... in short, my... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
