For 4000 baht for a 22 course tasting menu by Gaggan Anand, I consider this a crying bargain for a Michelin restaurant. It's a tasting menu that was full of surprises and rather than describe the journey of these tastes, the patron should go and experience the dishes prepared by Gaggan's staff and see for oneself. Part of the experience... More

Not always a fun of contemporary foods, but this place was a magnificent dining experience. Measured in bites, any of the set courses will please the palette and fill the stomach. We had the privilege of sitting in the chef table with clear view of the kitchen. Dining at its finest. I won't write about each bite, because you have... More

First, I greatly enjoy trying new restaurants and food when I am traveling. It is always a highlight to any of my travels so I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant after hearing so much about it and watching it on the show "Chef's Table" This is the first time I have ever walked out of a restaurant... Table/environment makes you feel like you are sat in someones house. The menu is is set, and you are not told what is in each dish unless you ask. We chose not to ask until we had eaten it and tried to work it out ourselves. Not all 22 courses were to our liking, but the flavours and aromas from... More

We had been waiting to come to Gaggan for 12 months so expectations were very high. We got seats on the chefs table in the "lab" and had Gaggan talk to us about the food which was very interesting and sometimes quite humorous. Let's be clear, Gaggan is an experience, not just a meal, it's dinner and a show, don't... More

It's been a while since I have completed a TripAdvisor review. Life is busy. But I felt compelled to take the time out to do this review. 1) Reservation system: There is no excuse to not at least respond to enquiries. It took our friend months to receive a confirmation after many unanswered phone calls and messages. This is unacceptable... More

There are a lot of complaints regarding this restaurants. Sure, they may have a terrible booking system, the waiters may be strange, you might have to stop them at the third course and ask if you can order drinks, and the wine list might not be the best for this level of restaurant, but who cares? Gaggan clearly does not... More

I've eaten at my share of famous restaurants from the crown jewels of Denmark to Tokyo, and Gaggan was every bit an equal (or superior) to the likes of Noma. Great service where I felt very well attended to and flavours that impressed throughout the meal. It's a harsh 4/5 rating from me because the requested card details at time... More

There's a reason this restaurant is so hard to get into...it's simply superb. It's funky indian fusion cuisine (i hope they aren't offended by that description) which is served with class and panache. Topped off with a nice wine list and knowledgeable sommeliers, this restaurant is one to remember. There are little 'cool" elements which i won't describe because it... More

The building is beautiful in my opinion. We were really well looked after by the friendly, professional staff. The food was an incredible experience, I love tasting menus and this was one of the very best. I ordered a bottle of Italian rose wine as I hoped it would be a safe option and it was delicious with the food.... More
