Outdoor seating overlooks the river... Decent service. We ordered beer and batter fried fish. The fish was fresh and well prepared. Good place to just and see the river and boats passing by... Waiter fumbled with a request for water trying to palm off expensive...More

How dumb of us to assume that as first time visitors our guide would take us to a Thai restaurant. Nope, we wound up here and couldn't have been unhappier about this obvious tourist trap. There was nothing that looked remotely appealing. All I managed...More

I did not eat a Fan Wah Charted dinner cruise. I had lunch on their two story restaurant and felt like I was dining on a boat. We had lunch on their huge covered outdoor deck. The breeze was heavenly and our server excellent. The...More

Ate a la carte as a walk-in - not part of a cruise package. Nice location, with not many riverside restaurants in that part of town, but the food was nothing short of disgusting. All dishes undercooked and flavourless. A restaurant very much relying on...More

The most pleasant dinner cruise we've had in Bangkok. The open air rice barge style boat was big enough for only 20 - 25 diners and everyone had a good view out. What surprised us the most was the quality of the food - surprisingly...More

Chinatown / Yaowarat
Better known as 'Yaowarat' among locals, Chinatown is
Bangkok's bustling district that never sleeps. During
the day, the main street and its small alleyways are
filled with a vibrant mix of colours, scents and
flavours coming from the roadside restaurants and
all-day markets. The real action, however, happens
after sunset. Surrounded by neon lights, Thais and
tourists alike flock here around dinnertime to feast

We booked our whole trip through an agent which included this, but Google suggests the price is about 900 Baht but some local guys offer it cheaper. Your hotel will be able to help you book it.
