I went to Masala Art with a group of friends (six total), on a night that wasn't that busy, and had terrible service. The waiter made multiple mistakes, and then seemed irritated when we sent back a dish we hadn't ordered. The food was quite good, but there are so many other very good Indian restaurants in Bangkok, there's no... More

After reading the TA reviews we felt compelled to give this establishment a try. All in all the food was pretty good but certainly not the best Indian in BKK. Unfortunately, while the food was decent the service was weak. After they had cleared away the mains we ordered Indian tea. It took over 45 minutes to deliver the tea... More

I went to this restaurant during the weekend and couldn't be more amazed by how good it was. If you are looking for an authentic indian restaurant in Bangkok this is the place to be. The chicken masala is amazing and the curry just perfect. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is one of the best Indian places you can find in Bangkok! The vegetarian choices are very good and the variety is big. I strongly recommend paneer lawabdar and dahi ke kebab!

Having lived in Laos for 7 months and been unable to find a good curry house we were really looking forward to visiting Masla Art and we were not disappointed. From the moment we stepped through the door until we left service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. The food choice was varied and what we ordered was so good,... More

I stayed five days in Bangkok and had dinner all five days in Masala Art. Such a fastasic cuisine, contemporary and stylish Indian Restaurant. Would highly recommend this restaurant who want to enjoy Indian Punjabi Desi Style food. Apart from food and ambience, I was very much impressed with the hospitality & special attention by Mr. C J Singh>

Good Friday and we all agreed that we should fast and not eat meat but where to go to eat? The boys straight away said "Indian" closely followed by "Masala Art". This is the first time we only ate vegetarian there and we all agreed that we could be converted! Great food, great service, all in all a great restaurant.

Staying in Thong Lor & Ekamai

Neighbourhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
