Indian food is an art, and this restaurant certainly lives up to the expectations set by its own name. The palak paneer, dahl makhani, and chicken tikka masala we had provided an amazing, well balanced combination of spices. We were really impressed; perhaps the best Indian food I've ever had in Thailand. Will for sure come back!

Art you could taste and fill your longing stomach. Located in the heart of Bangkok, a little bad traffic. All menus are wonderful. Curries, especially Mutton would make you a have sweet dream with full stomach. Wonderful service / decoration / and of course, foods. A MUST !

This restaurant is a gem. Best Indian food we have had in Thailand. The vegetable platter and onion bahjis were excellent. We were given a tiny cup of delicious soup to enjoy while waiting for our first course. The attention to detail was first class. The breads fresh and tasty. The service was excellent. We will be returning. Fresh and... More

Had some friends visit us at our Hotel Pan Pacific Residences Thonglo. Had no issues in getting a table at Masala Art for dinner without any reservations. The service was prompt and the food served was decent and fresh. I had to insist on the food to be prepared in the ethnic way as most of the Indian restaurants do... More

My family and I went last night to Masala Art for dinner and it was a huge let down and disappointment. We ordered our food and most of it had been appetizers and shouldn't have taken too long. For our appetisers we ordered samosas and onion bhaji. The onion bhaji and the rest of our main meal had arrived but... More

I have been living in Bangkok for 2 months and have been craving Indian food since arriving here. Masala Art did not disappoint! I originally wanted to order the korma, and ask for it extra spicey, I was quickly convinced otherwise by the very well informed staff to try another, i even switched to the lamb instead of chicken, after... This used to be one of my favourite restaurants, but it has gone rapidly down hill. Be prepared for a 2.5hour wait for your food, or for only part of your order to turn up. No care for customers. If you're after quality Indian food, Try charcoal on soi 11, the food is superior and the service is 100 times... More

Indian Vegetarians are explorers to get a hand at better option for Indian Vegetarian food in any world city they travel too. Though their choices for meals are limited ( Paneer , Malai Kofta , Kali daal , Yellow Daal etc etc ) - but the taste difference between these is what buys the loyalty. Overall from our bouquets of... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
