If you're craving Indian food in Bangkok's Khao San area, yet seeking a break from the buzz and activity of the backpacker crowd, then this place is the perfect choice. While I enjoyed the excitement of Khao San Road, and though there are plenty of mouth-watering options from the street vendors and open-atmosphere establishments for those wanting Indian cuisine, in... Right on Khao San Road. Makes a good change to eat Tandoori food, both veg and non - veg and Indian breads. Owners could reduce some clutter and make it more inviting.

Had chicken vindaloo, wasn't very spicy. Ask for more spice. Garlic naan was spectacular. Nice servers, fast service.

A little worried as it is center of Khao San. It was very busy but service was good. We liked all our food and our waitress wanted to make sure we liked it - accommodating. Price was good for the area. Not too big inside so you might have to wait for a table.

Sadly we only stopped here for a little appetiser (we'd had a large lunch so only wanted a snack), but wish we'd of had room for a full meal! We shared a few starters in the upstairs room, food was really lovely and we had a great view over the Khao San while enjoying a glass of wine. We left... More

Poor service. Took more than an hour to serve the food. After an hour the main dish was served before the starters. Extremely pricy and below average taste. The food was not authentic. The dosa I ordered has oil floating on it. The Biryani looked like fried rice with minimum meat. The street food in Thailand tastes better.

We were missing Pakistani food and found this place right across the street from our hotel. Went there for dinner thrice as the food was delicious and the cook didn't just say Indian food for the heck of it. It was actually a great place that served excellent food. Will go there again if in Bangkok.

Great relaxed restaurant overlooking koasan Road. Lovely staff. Quick service and amazing food, particularly the tandoori and tikka masala.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
