Awesome authentic Thai food

After a busy day and evening working at Suvarnabhumi Airport, I didn’t return to my hotel until around 21:00 and was hanging out for some authentic Thai food. I asked the extremely knowledgeable Bell Captain at the Pullman Hotel G who immediately recommended the Mango...Tree Restaurant which was literally 10 minutes walk. It is a hidden gem just off Silom Road. The Bell Captain proudly stated he’s recently been there and thought it was magnificent plus he’s sent many hotel guests there who’ve all raved about it. As it was late when I arrived, I was extremely appreciative that they went out of their way to accommodate me. The gentleman who escorted me to my table recommended some simply awesome Thai food. I love spicy but authentic Thai and had a simple green mango salad, grilled pork neck and the best lamb Massaman Curry I’ve ever had. This place is the bomb and can highly recommend it. They also offer a good discount to airline staff.More

Really great Thai food.

Fabulous Thai restaurant just off Surawong road. Very nice varied menu with lots to choose from along with a nice drinks menu of wine, beers & cocktails. The relaxed atmosphere of the garden is a delight. Great Thai food cooked and presented well. And the...prices very reasonable. The staff & owner are so polite and helpful with nothing too much trouble. We’ll worth a visit and I will certainly come back.More

Wonderful dinner

Excellent dinner with my wife. It has been many years since I visited mango tree and I was extremely pleased to see that it has improved even on my previous visits. Thoroughly excellent restaurant

Food is nice, price way too high

Decent Dinning Experience with Affordable Prize

It is a place with good decoration which renovated from an old colonial style building. Price are fairly cheap in compare with hotel restaurant. Food are good taste.

Mango Tree - a disappointment

Having knowing Mango Tree for more than 20 years - it was always a charming place with attentive service and tasty food. That has all change now. Ambience no longer as it has been, food preparation and presentation low standard. Service low level.

Loved it in the past, but not this time.

I think everybody who dines out frequently has a quota for the amount of time they will allow themselves to completely ignored. For me, it’s 12 minutes. After being seated and given a menu, I watched the waitstaff pass wordlessly by my table for 12...minutes. Then I left.More

Delicious

Food was excellent. Service was very fast. Especially recommend the chicken in banana leaf started, Spicy mango salad and duck red Thai curry.

Fab little find.

Lovely relaxing restaurant with fabulous food and cocktails. Had a real family run vibe to it. Entertainment was a nice touch too.
