This is a really nice restaurant with good and interesting decor. The decor seemed to be a blend of traditional Vietnamese and modern art? I don't know what you would call the genre, but it was interesting. Make sure you visit the toilets, like a mini art gallery, but a bit erotic theme. The food was delicious, especially the Pho... There were 9 of us in our group (mixed) and we called in without any prior notice. This was not a problem to the management and we were shown a table within minutes of arriving. The staff were dressed in Vietnamese costume and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. There is a written menu and a separate picture menu... More

We have dined at this restaurant several times over the years as it has moved from a house to its current expanded location. Staff wear traditional Vietnamese dress and are very helpful in offering advice on the menu. Suggest you select small portion dishes so that you can increase the number of items ordered for a wider range of interesting... More

Preface - I go by what is served and the cost of which. Ordered the pho chicken. 220b and wife ordred the pho beef (250b) for a 1/2 small bowl. Broth was on the salty side, but flavorful. Chicken was a little tough, noodles were good. Thus, while the taste was decent for pho here (not close to what's served... More

The décor, the atmosphere in the intimate dining rooms in what was once a private home bear witness to the life long time ago.Definitely over decorated to my taste. The same goes for the plating of the food. But the flavors are aromatic and delicate, far from the heat of the Thai food.Serving staff are dressed in traditional Vietnamese outfits and... More

At the end of Sukhumvit 23, very kitch decoration, uniforms from another time but amazing food and very good service! The banana flower salad is just waow, fresh and deep fried spring rolls are really tasty.

Amazing lunch, but pricy. Had all the standard Vietnamese dishes like spring rolls in many different ways, but the dish that stood out was the deep-fried crispy small tiny crabs. Very nice.

This was a beautiful meal. All the basics done well - simple, fresh and tasty. It was nice to enjoy the different flavours of Vietnam during our stay in BKK, and I would come back again and again.

We had dinner in this beautiful traditional house restaurant. The location itself is very pretty and a good photo op itself. The food is traditional and good quality. We all enjoyed our dishes and the service was friendly, helpful and prompt.

I really enjoyed the food, the Vietnamese decoration was beautiful, staff were dressed in original Vietnamese clothes and the garden was pretty. However, my beer in a glass of a naked woman and crude "fun" decorations in both bathrooms were a bit much. Why an exhibitionist doll exposing his p*nis, a signboard with different breast shapes or a model of... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
