Best dumplings and dishes ever. Great efficient service and very very reasonable price. It is a must visit once in a lifetime at least, well maybe twice...

Good local food, slightly overpriced and it is likely to spend a long time queing, since the restaurant is the local favorite

First of all, go before 11am or be ready for a 90 minute wait.. (at all locations) We spent 60 dollars (American) for dim sum and ate until we were silly. The Xao Long Bao soup dumplings were very good (each one has 19 pinches on top.. count them.) The Char Siu Bao buns were also very good, as was... More

We enjoyed our visit and had the traditional dishes of Xia Long Bao - accompanied by the combined condiments of soya sauce and vinegar. Service was brisk and the queue management was quickly effective. This was enjoyable during the end December cool and rainy weather.

We were already familiar with Din Tai Fung from a prior visit to Hong Kong, so when we decided to visit Taipei we were looking forward to enjoying their food again. Since they are based in Taiwan, they have several locations in Taipei, including this, where it all started. This is one of three locations we visited during our stay... More

The only reason we went was our travelling companions were keen to go given the name. We waited 1:30 hrs for our table (after being advised it would be an hour). The food was good however our Taiwanese hosts advised there was another dumpling restuarant nearby that was better, cheaper and no queues. We will visit it next time

As soon as we decided to add Taiwan to our 2016/2017 vacation this place was added to my must visit sight. We went with a local company who helped us with our orders. The service is fast and spot on, the food exceeded my expectations. I wish there was one of these closer...but then I'd probably weigh 300lbs.

I love Xiaolong bao and my anticipation to DinTaiFung was very high. The restaurant was huge, staffs were serving promptly, food was decent. We ordered pork, pork and crab Xiaolong bao, mushroom and vegi, pork and shrimp dumplings, beef noodles, and Shaohsuing. In general, the food was decent but not exceptional considering its reputation. I am not a chinese but... More

We went on weekday so we just waited about 10 minutes to reach our turn to out table. We ordered their famous Xiao Long bao and dumpling as well. The food is very yummy and their service is perfect ! The staff is friendly with good manners, they know how to communicated with different type of language too !
