First time was so delicious, over $20. I went back, everything else was not good in my opinion. The menu said one thing, what you got was not what it said....I ate there several times hoping for good food again. Last try I ordered the plum duck again..... it was my first meal there, but once again, cheated.

Quality food and service. Variety of cuisines available ranging from Indian, Continental and even Thai. I found the price slightly overrated as compared to Pokhara standards.

This place is near Pumpernickel and Mandela's bookstore. The sign for Bistro Caroline is huge but at 10ft high it took a bit of finding. It is down towards the Moondance on the lakeside of the street. The menu has Malaysian section along with a mix of French and British. We tried the tarts for our starter and they were... More

Having good reviews here, we went to check this place out. It was really not bad, but there is too much competition out there. The food was decent (but small portions for Pokhara standards). The chicken satay is a must try though.

As the owner is Malaysian the menu has a great choice and a nice change from the normal menus in Pokhara. We tried a variety of food and we were not disappointed

I had fish and chips to get a taste of home, despite my reservations about having fish based on some stories of illness. The meal was really good (no illness too) and the pot of coffee I had was also great value. However the service was not great as I sat in the garden and the waiters rarely came down... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant in Pokhara, desperately trying to find something that was not 'Western' style food. We were immediately welcomed by the owner who was incredibly attentive, helping us navigate the menu and try some local dishes such as momo and pakora. The food went down very well with a bottle of Everest beer. Our host gave us... More

I live in Nepal and we almost always go to the restaurant everyweek. the owner couple always welcome us with a big smile! I recommend apple crumble and steaks! They have the most tender and juicy meat!!

After travelling for some months & experiencing food of differing quality & dubious provenance it was nice to find somewhere where the food, service & ambiance was 1st class & comparable to any of the best restaurants I've eaten in in other major cities throughout the world.

I had lunch with my husband and as a vegetarian this was diffifult. The only thing available was pasta. I opted for the eggplant tomato lasagne that comes with salad and garlic potatoes. No where in the item descrition did the words cream and cheese sauce apear, yet it covered the plate. The salad included a few drowned pieces of... More
