I have always have made sure I visit this place as many times as I can for my meals whenever I am in kathmandu. I like the people who run it and vibes around. In my last visit I also purchased a hotel staff T-shirt, which is cool and I always wanted. Thanks for the awesomeness guys, keep the energy... More

We ordered. They obviously forgot our order despite only three tables being occupied. After about an hour and a half of waiting we reminded them. No apology. Eventually food came out. Our nachos came out cold with some bits of rotten avocado in the quacamole. Our chicken schnitzel was supposed to come w hummus. No hummus to be seen.

I had brunch here this morning and sat in the courtyard. Despite there being only one other table of 2, it was difficult to get anyone's attention. I had the same problem again after I finished eating and wanted a coffee. It was exactly the same situation when I asked for the bill. The food was very good and I... More

Dropped in here after doing a great trekking trip (Manaslu Circuit). Nice atmosphere and a very chilled out place; the DJ was just starting up playing some relaxing sounds. We ordered the Local Platter to share which sounded good. 4 veg pakauda, some fried potatoes, some chicken and some beef/buffalo, and some slices of cucumber and carrot. The pakauda tasted... More

Found this little restaurant while wandering around Thamel. We couldn't find our hotel (forgot to take a map) so we stopped by to fill our tummies and check the map online. The ambience is really nice - they have comfortable couches and a lot of space in the back garden. Although there were not many it took them a while... More

We went here before and after our 2 wk trek to base camp Everest. The food is amazing. Not to mention they have a 1-8pm happy hour every day with 2 for 1 cocktails. They did take 20 mins to make dispite the place not having many in it. Would recommend.

The Funky Buddha was great, cocktail happy hour, and very tasty food. We did a few rounds of cocktails and some food to share. Nice relaxed vibe and lovely outside garden that takes you away from the hectic street life of Kathmandu.

Thank Bronwyn W
