I give it 5 stars. My coffee was amazing, my breakfast was not remarkable but it was good. It is imperative to know this is a very Western coffee shop. It's a great place if you want a break from local food or a spot to hang out for awhile, use wifi, and chill.

If this is what you'd like, then they have plenty on offer! It's a giant areas full of expats on laptops, in their bubbles, with waiters who seem appalled by how insular the foreigners are and who are just waiting and hoping for tips. This used to be one fo the only places in KTM with great coffee... but now... More

Mouth watering coffee is served here. I liked the way the coffee was decorated with some cream over it. I loved it. Nice place to have a cup of yummy coffee and relax.

I sought this coffee shop based on others' recommendation and it did not disappoint. The coffee was great(had an Americano) and so was the no-bake blueberry cheesecake. A nice respite from walking around Thamel or Durbar Square.

Been visiting This place for few years. Ambience, wifi and quality of coffee is good. The problem is how to get your coffee/food in reasonable time. Its difficult to order coffee and get your check. The servers are busy and prefer not to look at you, otherwise they will have to serve you.

There is no another place in town, where you can find better coffee than Himalayan Java. If you coffee lover, you should go.

I've visited the Boudha Stupa at all hours of the day, and it is always a magical experience. After doing koras one morning at 5 am, we stopped in at Himalayan Java Coffee for a much needed cuppa. My cafe Americano was wonderful and my friends enjoyed their cafe au laits, as well. The spacious second floor location provides wonderful... More

I find Himalayyan Java somewhat expensive compared to some restaurants/coffee houses in Kathmandu but on the other hand, it's very clean, very westernized so I guess you're paying for that. I've tried a number of things here but the blueberry cheesecake tops it all. Fantastic. Great coffee too.
