food and service are good at the gallion. Nothing really fancy or unusual, but you will get what you order. Simple menu and a few choice of meat and fish.

at very reasonable prices. A good place to sit outside, have a drink and work on your email, as their wifi works very well (bellevue around the corner has some problems there). all in all, a safe bet. On fridays, they have live music which is well done and not too loudly presented. Staff is attentive and nice. We have... More

The food at le Gallion is just OK - there are definitely better places to eat in Lomé - but the live music on Friday and Saturday nights makes it worth a visit.

I always love to eat here. The food is as good as you get for basic French food in a country where there is lots of it. The atmosphere is quaint, the decor simple but characteristic of the type of place this purports to be: French provincial.

this place has a french colonial feel. the bar looks like a traditional french place. it is super quaint. the wine was terrible (properly horrible) but the beer was good. they have live music here on fridays and saturdays. we went there for a simple breakfast. it is a charming place!

The staff was nice and spoke some English which helped us. The steaks were good which is what most of our group had. A nice change in a... More

Pros:The rooms are decent; ideal for budget travellers. Great location about 1 km away from the Ghana border and not far from the entertainment district ( Boulevard du 13 Janvier). I like the Live music on weekends. Cons: although the food is of a good quality, I find it a bit over priced for Lomé. The same thing goes for... More

The walled in courtyard and ambiance is great and the beer and food is comforting after trudging in the sandy streets on Lome!
