Went there for my dad s 70th birthday. Service took 2 hours to accommodate a group of 8. And when they arrived, they forgot my dad s order. It took one hour to get a mojito and 45 mn to get glasses for our water. A shame because the food was good. Definitely won t come back.

You're sitting at tables just steps away from the sand and sea, with fabulous views along the coastline in both directions, and towards the ocean beyond. In addition to appealing fish and seafood offerings, there are good choices for vegetarians, and my meals were tasty and sufficient. Wine is, as everywhere, expensive, but local beer is average restaurant price. Unless... More

We decided to try something new on that Sunday and hence went to Chez Fatou Kim. Making an order seems to be easy but getting it on the other hand is a whole other story where you can sit for 40 minutes awaiting some brochette and a grilled fish...and after the wait the outcome is also very disappointing as the... Great place to sit by the sea and have a couple of beers! Food is okay, fish is usually fresh, you will get some good grilled fish here, ask for the "piment" if you love spicy Good service though

Great fresh food, friendly service and probably the closest you can get to the ocean in a restaurant without getting your feet wet. Go for the sunset and then tuck into something to eat and have another beer. The menu isn't huge, but it gets the job done. The grilled fish was brilliant and great value for money. It's a... More

This unpretentious little place delivers good food with a great view and friendly service. It's located in the Almadies suburb of Dakar on the corniche on the Atlantic Ocean. It was the first restaurant I ate at when I arrived in Dakar. It's quite soothing to to have a drink and watch the sun go down over the ocean, then... More

We go here often. It is casual, semi-Senegalese and family-friendly as well as being reasonably priced. The kids can play in the water while waiting for the food to be served and you can watch the surfers and/or the sunsets.

Excellent compared to other Dakar resaturants. Prices are lower than similar restaurants that are not even on the beach view

Chez Fatou Kim has quality food at very reasonable prices with a great view. It's a nice alternative to the more expensive and fancier places in the area but with solid quality food and a great atmosphere. They serve delicious alloco (fried sweet plantains) as a side with the fish and meat main courses. Waves crash below throughout your meal... More
