We ate all kinds of traditional food . Great service and hospitality. Namibia on another level. This is international standards of service in namibia. Thank you meme xwama for introducing such services in the land.

We hosted our delegation of 25 people at this restaurant. Our delegates were from different countries in the continent. We were hoping for a true traditional experience in the Katutura township. There was no background music, the food platters were below average, and the waiters were hardly there to serve us. Very disappointing!

Very nice place to get real traditional food. Menu included goats head, mopane worms, bean soup and even cultural stories and dances. Price was cheap, and it is in an economically deprived area, though great places like this will certainly help. (The owners both grew up in Katatura) I will however, say that you can be harassed by drunk beggars,... More

This restaurant offers the best of Namibian traditional cuisine. I have hosted a number of local and international corporate clients at Xwama and it proved to be a great experience every time. I definitely recommend this eatery.

We just spent a few weeks traveling around Namibia, and this was easily the best meal we ate. Restaurants in the touristy areas of Namibia basically serve European food -- meat and potatoes, with maybe a small Namibian twist. That's delicious, but not all that interesting. Xwama is the place if you want to experience something that you just can't... More

I love Xwama. The atmosphere is great, i love how the lights don't go so bright. The staff are always friendly sometimes bringing out drinks can take longer than usual. The food is simply delicious. I love the Oshingali and the Ombidi. Love the bread as well. The only reason its not getting a 5 is because some of my favorite... More

I like the traditional chicken and traditional spinach. Once you eat their chicken you will keep going back, this is one restaurant in Windhoek I can recommend to tourists. The food is value for money, good security and the service is tops.
