Was like being in a time warp from 7 years ago. Food still good, had the beef on hot rock for old times sake. But found service on a Wednesday night to be really slow even though restaurant was no where near full!

I had the massive steak/egg/chips portion for dinner, is some way they managed to bring half a plate of cold chips and the other half semi hot, the eggs was cold as well. My friend had a pizza which had absolutely no flavor, it was like eating just a pizza base. They waiter was friendly.

it is a great place to eat... the food is grate... it has a good selection of sea food and wines.... the only problem may be parking, it gets full because there are a lot of restaurants in the vicinity.

The first thing that struck me when i walked in was the seating arrangement and decor , reminded me of our mess hall in the army ...which brought back good memories so an extra point for that :-). The food is "quantity and not quality" inspired...the meals are huge and very affordable but it definitely not romantic or bears a... More

Our table tried out a range of menu items, and everyone seemed to enjoy what they got. The portions are generous and full of flavour. I love a good steak, and the garlic steak on the hot rock was a memorable experience.

I lived in Mozambique in the early 90's and one of my favourite restaurants was a barrack in the Feira popular, named "Mbango Fenix"; the Portuguese owner/cook and a couple of waiters were the personnel, but it was enough to serve a very good garoupa, grilled squids, or - sometimes - a tasteful portuguese feijoada..... Ten years later I was... More

The fact that only one table was occupied should have warned me. I asked for Lacosta which surprisingly enough, they had. Ordered a full Peri-Peri Chicken, and chips, which I got. However, something was smelling funny when I pulled the drumstick out of the its socket. That is the first I do, smell the bone of the chicken to make... More
