Been coming here for years whenever I am in Tana. This March the resto seems to be closed. Maybe they moved or maybe annual vacation...??? Hope it's not permanent! Great bagel sandwiches and milkshakes.

I come to this place for brunches or afternoon chill. They have delicious cocktail juice, hot chocolate, Browne ... It s also a great place to meet with friends.

Great coffee, some of the best i've had in Tana, at the same price if not cheaper than some of the more well renowned 'stop for coffee' places. The menu is fantastic since reopening with a range of fruit and vegetable smoothies that are very fresh and clean. The food is american with a french twist and is great for... More

$4 for a bacon, egg, and cheese (although the bacon is really just ham) doesn't seem too bad, but in Tana you can get more for your money. I ordered the large sandwich and got a half-sized bagel sandwich with fries. It was great, just not enough food. Brownie and ice cream dessert with caramel... drool. Coffee/espresso was good for... Stopped here as a colleague and I had about a half hour to kill before our next appointment. It was quiet as it was a Sunday, so the atmosphere was good for chatting. The cappuccino was good and it filled in the time well. I will definitely stop by in the future.

Stopped here as I was running around town on errands and to meetings. I think there are two locations; I went to the location that is NOT near the US Embassy. I thought the food was great for what it was! I had a "southwest chicken wrap" on a REAL tortilla - a better tortilla than I can get in... More

Always a popular favourite with Peace Corps and other "young" Americans" trying to quell homesickness, it is now trendy with young middle class Malagasy trying to impress their friends. If you need a cookie, it is the place to go, but it's expensive and the quality is inconsistent.

For Antananarivo the Cookie Shop is a VIP Starbucks... and they actually started selling Starbucks coffee not long ago. If you are hungry, you can have a decent sandwich. I would say it is a little pricey for a snack (you can have a real meal for the price), but if you are stuck in between lunch and dinner when... More

With their two locations now serving Starbucks coffee, I can honestly say this place is feeling like home away from home. The location by the US embassy has English and French books to peruse and IPADs! courtesy of the American cultural center. The Antanimena location offers a fantastic brunch deal on Saturdays. If you are craving a sandwich (one of... More

Have been to the one opposite the American Embassy for hot chocolate and a cookie, both of which were lovely. Friends who go there regularly have also said that the brunch and bagels are very good as well. Would particularly recommend the espresso hot chocolate - delicious. Definitely on the pricey side for Madagascar, but worth it for an occasional... More
